My illustrations are very realistic and detailed.  I use a pencil drawing and then either pen and ink or painting with watercolor or gouache.  The portrait,' Bangladesh,' was painted as a sample bookcover design.  Botanical as well as other illustrations were intended for card design.  Several of my illustrations were bought by a California company and manufactured and sold as rubberstamps. I had some of my black and white pen designs made into rubberstamps also, for my own purpose of printing on paper and fabric.
